REID PARK , 22nd Street at Country Club Rd.
The
Glassman Foundation Youth Expo
, was designed to provide an opportunity for
Tucson ’s youth to come together to learn about
the beneficial community programs available
to them. In addition, the Youth Expo
provides parents an interactive forum to experience
programs at their disposal to promote civic
involvement, positive recreation and education
for their children.
In conjunction
with the Catalina Council Boy Scouts of America,
Sahuaro Council Girl Scouts, Camp Fire USA ,
Big Brothers Big Sisters, Learning for Life,
4-H Clubs, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson
as well as local service agencies, the Glassman
Foundation Youth Expo provides a fun-filled
and educational day of activities for the entire
community. In 2004 the Youth Expo had
an attendance of over 5500 participants.
