In 1997, Rodney B. Glassman was described by the Arizona Daily Star as a "businessman, singer, athlete, and Eagle Scout." Now, in the year 2009, add University of Arizona M.B.A. alumnus, Masters of Public Administration, PhD in Arid Land Resource Sciences, Juris Doctorate, member of the Arizona Bar and Tucson City Councilman. As Founder and President of the Glassman Foundation he raises over $100,000 annually for local children’s charities in Tucson. Standing 6'6", he claims to be the tallest, Jewish, singing, hockey playing, Eagle Scout in Arizona.

One summer day, Rodney landed at Casa de los Niños, dressed in a chef's outfit complete with apron and checked pants. He was on a break from his summer internship working at McMahon's Prime Steakhouse and interested in how he could help Casa de los Niños. Rodney realizes and appreciates the blessings that his parents have given him. He and his brother Jeremy were both raised in a household where giving to the community was a focal point in their lives.

The strong feelings of warmth and kindness felt throughout the holiday season are what inspired Rodney to create this CD project. Money raised through the sale of this CD directly funded the care of abused and neglected children at Casa de los Niños. Rodney's goal was to provide a little bit of the love and warmth given to him by his parents, to the children at Casa de los Niños. Through his love of music, generosity, and ability to combine the forces of some of Tucson's most coveted charitable organizations and artistic performers, he has created a piece of art for the entire community to enjoy.

In Loving Memory of Mrs. Divine.
